I am a contemporary abstract artist working predominantly in acrylics.
I was born in New York and have loved drawing and painting since I could hold a pencil. After working with oils and pastels for many years I turned to acrylics. I love their fast-drying properties which allows the buildup of many layers for my intuitive and spontaneous style to evolve.

I paint for the joy of it. It’s that simple. Mark making and pushing yummy colors around a canvas or paper makes me completely happy. Finding shapes within a space and the energy in the painting that moves them to their place is what I find most satisfying.
