I am a writer and photographer living in Winterville, GA. Most of my work documents, if that's the right word, my daily life, though street photography is the principal exception to this. I'm interested in the tension between the descriptive and poetic powers of photography. I'm retired from the University of Georgia, and have had experience teaching in middle school and at the college level.
