Intensity of eye contact is what inspires me, whether it be portraiture of birds, people or still life. Deciding on my subject requires me to make an emotional connection with the image.

Birds are a universal subject we all relate to representing a consciousness different from ours, an unknown world. I have conveyed this through a sense of connection by engaging the viewer with direct eye contact.

My work is an examination of beauty of form, a beauty that gives us comfort and aesthetic fulfillment; to surround ourselves with familiar images which have the touch of the artist, enriching our lives and homes.

My works are predominately presented in a graphic manner by contrasting them with a stark white background.

I enjoy creating beauty through realism, with my own stylistic twist.
